John and Donna were great philanthropists. He was a very nice person. i had the preasure of working with him at his (house) which was a palatial estate overlooking Back Bay in Newport Beach. He will be missed by a lot of people in OC. His house is designed after Montecello, the Jefferson home. He opened his home to dozens of organizations and charities..
God rest his soul.

RIP. Fleetwood is a very successful company, and Mr Crean did a lot of good with his money, unlike some of the very rich.

After dropping out of college, Crean and his brother Leonard got
into the trailer business and Fleetwood Enterprises followed.
It's fun to ponder...
what the odds are that anyone would have ever heard of guys like Crean
or the Wright Brothers if they'd gotten PhDs and "really
made something of themselves".
