HOUSTON - Gov. Rick Perry said a state law allowing illegal immigrant students to pay in-state college tuition serves a good purpose, and he will fight efforts to repeal the measure. I am embarrassed that this cheesehead is my governor. I have to bet that this idiot was not born here.

Texans really need to decide soon if they want to become another Kalifornia. You can only have so many warnings before you get what you deserve.

The friggin' STATE doesn't have any money, it's the taxpayers money.
Should read, governor to use taxpayers money to educate people who broke U.S. law and have no right to use one penny of the peoples money since they have paid nothing into the system.
They should be deported, people should not be forced to give their money to them.

About 3,800 children of immigrants got in-state tuition in 2004, less than 1 percent of students in Texas colleges and universities. Typical obfuscation. The NUMBER of ILLEGALS (they are NOT immigrants) is not relevant to the PRINCIPLE.
If it was ONE SINGLE illegal that got in-state tuition it would still be a travesty. Perry is disgusting.

Rick Perry is an idiot. He prefers helping illegals over native born Texans. That's all you need to know about the guy who is Texas' Governor.

It probably does serve a good purpose,...it's just that not allowing illegal aliens to pay in-state tuition rates serves a better purpose for the people whom Gov Perry was voted to represent.
