The point, though, was unmistakeable. Shawn talked to a cop about his missing bike. Shawn had access to this and was given that, by Devlin. Had friends. Slept over at other places. Had them over. Rode a bike out late and was stopped by cops for curfew. Had a girl friend. BUT HE DIDN'T TELL ANYONE, ASK FOR HELP, TRY TO ESCAPE, PHONE HOME, ETC.
Both the newsie and Greta said it was bizarre, and were just shaking their heads at the incredibility of it all.
yes, it is bizarre, but that doesn't mean Shawn was happy and wanted to be with Devlin and that is what these Newsie people need to get.
