Hey there, Tamar! I have a feeling that if The Empire were in charge of Iraq, ol' Vader would have the country whipped into shape in no time. He'd feel right at home, too, since Iraq/Baghdad resembles Tatooine/Mos Eisley.

Savage is defending Rice... when all of us here know he sometimes criticizes Rice's policies.

This is why I like Savage, he will support the politician if he thinks they are making good decisions. But if that same person makes a foolish decision, he will eat them alive.
I get tired of "Support every thing the President or Condi does or your a troll."
It is ok too disagree with our leaders policies.

BTW I asked for Savage's real name because he looks familiar, and I know he and I went to U.C. Berkeley at the same time, and his academic building was adjacent to mine.

Savage knows when to support and defend the Repubs. Now is the right time. Savage pretty much calls things as he sees them, and tries to call things fairly within his world view.
He was ahead of the curve on this - GOP cheerleader hosts became almost impossible for me to listen to about 6 years ago. I now prefer guys like Prager, Medved, Ingraham, and Hewitt who though clearly have a conservative bias, they tend to not $hill for the GOP or contort into impossible positions to make sense out of the incomprehensible just because it's a GOP position.
Well, most of the time.
Anyway Savage calls things like they are - if Dr Rice is looking like an @ss, he will say so. If she is in the right, he will say so. Whether I agree on any given issue, that's good enough for me.
