FR may have made a big stink about it, but I heard this on "Paul Harvey" with Senator Fred Thompson this morning before it hit the FReeper wires.
Too bad he's retired from politics. I bet he'd make a formidable foe for the Hildabeast and others on the "that" side of the aisle.
I liked Fred Thompson but I think he got his gut full during the Clinton Administration. I think the honest get out and don't look back. The corrupt stay for as long as they can pick our pockets while diverting out attention.
Republicans spent all of their 'leadership time' yesterday on the floor of the House, making speeches about this issue.
Watch FOX, they have been airing this all day. A Republican Representative brought it up on the floor of the house, where the dems tried to shout him down. It is a very funny thing..you HAVE to see it. It's a must see. Maybe it's on the internet.
