"CNN either failed to perform due diligence on their partner, or they are complicit in this polling sham." I vote for "option B". CNN has been in the tank for the Clintons for years. They don't call it the "Clinton News Network" for nothing.
To: Howlin
Based on the history of the people who recently acquired Opinion Research Corp., we believe that the true purpose of the CNN/Opinion Research partnership is to rig the poll results to benefit Hillary Clinton in her 2008 presidential campaign. Opinion Research was purchased last year by InfoUSA. InfoUSA is controlled by a hard-core Clintonista named Vinod Gupta. Gupta is a major Clinton/DNC donor and fundraiser, and Lincoln Bedroom guest.

"I wonder who will stand up for us against that bill."
I'd like to know the bill number and sponsor. Tried a Search through THOMAS but couldn't find it. It was mentioned on the Hannity Show or Mark Levin the other night.

Hillary Clinton fills needs in Omaha
Lincoln Journal Star (NE)

OMAHA (AP) -- First lady Hillary Clinton came to town to raise money for her New York Senate campaign. But she spent most of her time in Borsheim's Fine Jewelry and Gifts shopping for china and silverware for her house in New York.
Clinton visited Thursday for a $1,000-per-person fund-raiser, held at the home of InfoUSA founder Vinod Gupta. She raised about $100,000 for her campaign. The event was closed to the public and the news media.
Clinton spent most of her 5 1/2-hour trip with Omaha billionaire Warren Buffett, co-host of the fund-raiser and chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, owner of Borsheim's.
The first lady spent about two hours in the store with Buffett and reportedly left with three shopping bags.
Buffett said he was not surprised that Clinton sought campaign support in Omaha, saying it is emerging as a regular campaign stop for politicians.
"Plenty of our candidates go to New York for campaign funds," he said. "This is only fair."

I understand the "Rats" have a bill down there about the "Fairness" doctrine which aims to undermine talk radio and possibly forums like this. That little factoid is just under the radar, and has been for some time...I cringe every time I see it.

CNN should put a disclaimer on every one of the Opinion Research polls they run. Will they? Not on your life.

Howlin, do you still have the pics of that ugly china from the Guild thread days?
