Agreed. And there is a whole lot of detriment to doing it...we haven't seen the half of.

Yet the Administration has been quietly pushing this, and pushing it, and pushing it. All at the flunky-level. But an upper-echelon lieutenant, Condileeza Rice, in her confirmation hearings for the Secretary of State position back in '05 stated that this was an Administration priority.

Interesting how the RATs and Kerry never made it an issue, eh? Perhaps a case of "Honor among, a'hem thieves" (as they allow sovereignty to be diluted and weakened). Both Liberals...and this Administration... are for it. A mutual hand-washing exercise...while the country is betrayed.

We now have a DemocRAT Senate. Harry Reid, unlike Bill Frist, will likely be inclined to favor this thing...and have the votes to put it over.
