Stockholm syndrome and worse. There's many ways to frighten and subdue a child. I can't bear to think about it and I'd have to think about it tell you.
I know what you mean...like I sort of tried to tell Star...when I look at him and think about what we don't know..and he has experienced, but has probably dissassociated from...it is very, very scary.
I hope his parents are prepared...
