I was browsing a Spanish-language eqivalent of Match.com. It had a nice chat area, and I liked keeping my Spanish up. I figure it will come in handy when we become the big province of Mexico someday. ;) I happened upon a woman from Panama, and I'd been there two times before and used to have a Panamanian girlfriend. Well, I went back two more times, got a fiancée visa, brought her here, got married, and I'm very happy. She's great. I think she's happy too, but I don't want to put words in her mouth. ;)
If you're conservative, Latin women are a good match. They are very family-oriented, not vulgar...sort of Donna Reed with a passionate side.
