I can understand having a bus route that specializes in Hispanic students. But to deny access if they speak English? Please tell me this is from another country.

Actually, they're not white kids. Not that it matters. It was handled very badly by both the driver and the school district.
I often wonder what peoples' thought prcocess is when they say stupid crap like this.

I often wonder what peoples' thought prcocess is when they say stupid crap like this.We usually wonder if a buttmunch will get their panties in a wad.
So they'll pay to bus Hmong, but not non-Hmong to the same school, presumably from similar areas... Happier now?

Exactly, and that's exactly what the bus was.
From what I've read (in other places), the bus was only going to "language academies" that taught Hmong children to speak English. The kids got ON THE WRONG BUS and somebody didn't explain or understand it.
