On their blogs they point out that political momentum is on their side and they can now push for Congress to restore the Fairness Doctorine in broadcasting.

Of course they are. Air America was a disaster. It's obvious mainstream America won't pay (via advertisers) to listen to their tripe, so they have to try and FORCE THE GOVERNMENT to reinstitute the Fairness Doctrine and thus drop conservative talk.

They claim to have gotten the Governor of Michigan, Democrat Jennifer Granholm, to have personally been involved in pulling ads placed by the Michigan Development Corporation on the station.
