Ok, well, I will surely miss your "help" in the future. But before you go, I was hoping you whould answer my question real quick.
Who do you think should sign off that your subordinate understands, and is complying with, department policy?

Of course someone should make sure they take the class. Bad oversight is taking attendance, good oversight is making sure the message is understood.
