Few people drive that far. Its still cheaper to hire a good auto mover to take your car when its a long distance destination and then drive the car there when it arrives.

Fly and rent a car when you get there is probably cost effective when the destination is over a thousand miles away.

Goldie you must live in a bunker, 600 miles is nothing. Consider, New England to FL for the retirees, road warriors [salesmen]and beyond.

You lost me on that one. Doesn't sound like you are factoring in the price of YOU getting to where the car is. And what if you are a family of four? According to what you posted it would be cheaper to have my car transported 600 miles and for me and my family of four to fly there than to just get in the car and go.

You must have meant something else.
