GW Bush, our counterpart to the Emperor Valens. Oh, except that Valens went out to fight the Goths.

We have, in short, the worst of all possible systems. We do indeed. There is an unholy alliance of Big Business (which is amoral, and has an insatiable desire for cheap labor, in order to enhance the bottom line) and postmodern transnationals (who see national sovereignty as an antiquated concept, and view America's riches as an affront to the less-developed world).
I agree wholeheartedly with the author. An open-borders policy, as undesirable as that is, would at least have the small virtue of being less hypocritical than the current wink, wink, nudge, nudge policy.

And the idiot failed to wait for re-enforcements from his brother Flavius Valentinian.

You people just don't understand.
How are these companies going to make huge profits and pay outrageous executive salaries and back-dated stock options and retirement millions if they pay the just wage to American and legal workers?
Get a grip! This is not your father's America!
Now go out there and pay your taxes so the welfare system can pick up the medical bills and Social Security checks for these illegals and save these companies from paying for them as benefits.

Call me scum but, I tried for yrs. to buck the system and give as little as possible to the Gov and Corp. America. Here I sit today, legal as possible, only to have my contribution to society wasted on the derelict and illegal population amongst us.

TN lost a state trooper Sunday two Hispanic teenagers (They keep calling a 19 a teenager!), involved in the drug trade, and none of the local press will even ask if they are illegals! Must be too PC a question!
Mike Fleming from AM600 is stating the truth on that will be out the end of the week, that they are illegals, as Trooper Jenks is laid to rest today.

"We most heavily add to our national organization those that first break laws, fake their resumes, pay bribes, evade their taxes, communicate poorly, have few legitimate skills and disrespect our culture."Says it all.
And brought to us courtesy of our very own federal government.

Well if we had those 30 million babies aborted since Roe v Wade at least some of them would be productive workers by now. Maybe we wouldn't need "guest" workers.

Read this and tell me Bush hasn't encouraged illegals.

Like I said, I don't agree with the administrations dealing with immigration, but there are worst problems and I still would not call our President of these United States an "Idiot".
