You seem overly concerned with the personal lives of two of the men. As a matter of fact, in the McCain example, his first wife, Carole, remain a good and close friend of his. Rudy;s divorces go against his religion --- a religion I happen to share and I am not happy about that, but "IF" he's the GOP nominee, I will vote for him.
I vote for a Commander-in-Chief, particularly in times of war.
The primaries have not yet commenced; potential candidates have not yet announced; --- yet we have posters here already wringing their hands and commiserating about who they will not vote for. Good grief. Just wait until they see what the democrats nominate.
My issues are national security (defense and our military) and the federal benches. A lot of the social issues will be decided by federal courts. I'd like to have a GOP POTUS filling those benches, and the more conservative the POTUS, the better.

It should be mentioned then, for those with the wits to still remember the subject of the thread, that Mitt Romney appointed radical homosexual activists to the bench.

Good grief. What's wrong with that picture? It can't be about conservative values because they aren't supporting anyone, just bashing the few who dare to take a peek at a run. The groundwork for the Democrats is being laid by those so-called "conservatives". Why would they want to do the dirty work for a party of death if they claim to be pro-life? It doesn't add up. Nothing they do every adds up - literally and figuratively.

I will not wait to see who they nominate. I won't let their candidate determine what morals I will compromise in voting for mine.
Yes I am concerned about their personal lives. An observation from my own is this: when people make poor decision in their personal lives, I believe it is a reflection of their poor judgment. I can't trust a leader like that. If they treat women (their own wives for God's sake!) like garbage, why should I believe they give a rat's rear end about me or this country?
As to McCain's wife absolving him of his crime, it is said she does this for the sake of her children. This is an honorable thing considering his betrayal. One who has no moral character can't be counted on to practice whatever lovely policies they preach. And they preach few good policies.
