Who is not a deviant? McCain and Giuliani? These men are scoundrels. Aside from questionable policy, what "man" would treat women like this?

You seem overly concerned with the personal lives of two of the men. As a matter of fact, in the McCain example, his first wife, Carole, remain a good and close friend of his. Rudy;s divorces go against his religion --- a religion I happen to share and I am not happy about that, but "IF" he's the GOP nominee, I will vote for him.

I vote for a Commander-in-Chief, particularly in times of war.

The primaries have not yet commenced; potential candidates have not yet announced; --- yet we have posters here already wringing their hands and commiserating about who they will not vote for. Good grief. Just wait until they see what the democrats nominate.

My issues are national security (defense and our military) and the federal benches. A lot of the social issues will be decided by federal courts. I'd like to have a GOP POTUS filling those benches, and the more conservative the POTUS, the better.

Yes, it surely does!

Why dont they just LEAVE and form their own party?

Oh, I remember now: they can't elect anybody from a party like that, so they have to suck the life out of OUR party by telling us we're not smart enough (i.e. conservative enough) to pick our own candidate.

Remember the aliens in Independance Day, the ones that moved from planet to planet, sucking the life out of each planet's enviroment because they had alreayd trashed their own?

We all know that you back and sometimes work for those who are such pure conservatives, that they loose.

EternalVigilance just finished a campaign where we won big. And EV had a big part in that win. And we had liberals like you saying the same kind of garbage about this conservative candidate as you are saying about EV.

No sexuality is not hardwired: Fact is either homosexuality is a SIn/mental insanity/unatural-aka unmanly, unwomanly/against the natural order or it's a natural "hardwired"..both can't be true, and there is a TRUTH out there: I base what I call truth not on my opionion but on 2 sources: Biblical/Judeo Ethics, and the natural order that has been in formation since the beginning of the world: Accepting homosexuality is like accepting "evil as good", it's mixed up just to suit the Perverted "feelings" of a few who worship illicit sex, in a word: Mental INSANITY!

You seemed really worried that Mitt might successfully sell himself. LOL. I hope he is not THAT good. Rudy is my choice. I really hope California moves its primary up. I might take up prayer to that end. :)

These "real true conservatives might as well be classified as "seminar posters" since they're working to get dems elected..

It should be mentioned then, for those with the wits to still remember the subject of the thread, that Mitt Romney appointed radical homosexual activists to the bench.

As governor, Ronald Reagan instituted one of THE most liberal abortion states in America.

He was a liberal Dem for 1/2 of his adult life and admired and praised FDR until his death.

He was not only a proud union member, but the president of his union, TWICE, which he ran on, when he first was running for president.

Well hardwired sexuality is another issue. I think it is a continuum myself, but whatever. What I was commenting upon, was hard wired OPINIONS about sexuality.

Romney signs off on permanent assault weapons ban
- July 08, 2004

Governor Mitt Romney has signed into law a permanent assault weapons ban that he says will make it harder for criminals to get their hands on these guns.

“Deadly assault weapons have no place in Massachusetts,” Romney said, at a bill signing ceremony on July 1 with legislators, sportsmen’s groups and gun safety advocates. “These guns are not made for recreation or self-defense. They are instruments of destruction with the sole purpose of hunting down and killing people.”

Like the federal assault weapons ban, the state ban, put in place in 1998, was scheduled to expire in September. The new law ensures these deadly weapons, including AK-47s, UZIs and Mac-10 rifles, are permanently prohibited in Massachusetts no matter what happens on the federal level.

“We are pleased to mark an important victory in the fight against crime,” said Lieutenant Governor Kerry Healey. “The most important job of state government is ensuring public safety. Governor Romney and I are determined to do whatever it takes to stop the flood of dangerous weapons into our cities and towns and to make Massachusetts safer for law-abiding citizens.”
