"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Ping - FYI
PING to CA Gov. Arnold Short-on-change's "State of the State" address.
Heads up: more CA businesses headed your way.
How about, 'look at what we have accomplished for the people; on their behalf and by their Will. . .and consent'.
If the 'qualifications' cannot be met; then it is the worst of the 'I am a 'god' (Libs imagine thery merit a capital 'G' here of course) mentality as just a reminder s to 'who' sits on the very top of the mountain. . .and so ordains your life. . .your 'chairity'. ..the birth of your children and the death that so follows are citizens; whether they voted for the extra level of care. . .or not.
yes, you've got issues out there in CA. But in NY, it costs me $9 to cross a bridge. you want to come here?
"But you here in this chamber acted on infrastructure, the minimum wage, prescription drug costs and the reduction of greenhouse gases in our atmosphere."
All liberal issues that will bankrupt the state. Way to go Arnold!
"I believe that together not only can we lead California into the future...we can show the nation and the world how to get there."
My greatest fear.
That said - and bottom line. . . Arnold is suffering all the earmarks of a long and fruitful marriage with Maria. . .she is winning; Californina is losing.
They surely must be running out of Ryder Trucks et al; post Arnold's sharing.
No doubt.
$43 billion down, 157 billion to go! That should drive the stake in California.
No doubt
Surely by now; Oregon is on a winning tear. . .or should be soon.
Surely, many cities across the country; reaping the California harvest by now. . .
Reading over it quickly all I can say is....Oh Sh*t, we're screwed!
You betcha! If I could leave this state, I would have been gone two years ago. Big government, more taxes, more regulation, more nanny state, more enviro-whackoism... less freedom. It's been a tough couple days to listen to all of this.
Hi sweetie, good to see you again. Are you going to stick around and defend the socialized health care and the 4% payroll tax?
We missed you over here http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1764826/posts
No kidding! Now I will get to pay even more taxes to help the "workers" in the canyon behind my house. Hey maybe next Ahonld will build cheap housing for them! They have everything else!
Hi! Oh, you weren't talkin' to me? ;-)
Are you going to stick around and defend the socialized health care and the 4% payroll tax?
One cannot defend the undefendable. His no-tax pledge was blown to kingdom come with the latest round of big-government proposals.
Do you live next to that canyon? The one that was recently exposed for being a haven for illegals?
"If I could leave this state, I would have been gone two years ago. "

So what's holding you back, since you seem to hate CA so?
Is Pelosi paying you so much to divide conservatives you can't afford to give it up?
Personal reasons that I choose not to share publicly. I don't hate California--I love California. My family has been here since 1917. That's why it is so distressing to see its destruction progress so rapidly in recent years.
Is Pelosi paying you so much to divide conservatives you can't afford to give it up?
Conservatives are pretty well united, FO. They aren't buying into this big tax healthcare plan for ilegals, nor massive new borrowing. Pelosi? ROFL. That's a good one! How low will you go?
McClintock said tonight that he regrets having supported Schwarzenegger and would not have supported him if he had known about the healthcare plan that was proposed yesterday. I guess you're not in that camp, choosing instead to defend his latest leftist agenda?
