The Basque terrorist organization, ETA, claimed Tuesday afternoon responsibility for the recent bombing at Madrid's Barajas airport that claimed the lives of two Ecuadoreans.

At the same time, ETA in its statement published in the Basque language newspaper Gara, said that its so-called truce with the Spanish government remains in place, while at the same time warning that there could be further terrorist acts as a response to what it claims are "aggressions againt Euskal Herria," or the Basque Country.

ETA is apparently taking lessons from the palestinians. Unfortunetly for them Spain is ruled by socialists so the media wont let then get away with the double talk.

Rodney,

ETA is apparently taking lessons from the palestinians. Unfortunetly for them Spain is ruled by socialists so the media wont let then get away with the double talk.

I am afraid ETA gives lessons, doesn't take them.

They have got to be kidding.

They are pretty serious, it is the old tactic of the carrot and the stick, now improved into the peace-talks and the van-loaded-with-a-ton-of-dynamite.

Are these people brain damaged?

No, they are not.

As I wrote in this thread:

Moreover, the global strategy is clearer now: ETA needed the Socialist in office for lifting the police pressure on them. The Socialists needed the office to rinse its party monstrous debt: banks have cancelled during Zapatero’s term 40 million Euro in debt to the Socialist Party.

What is the exit strategy? Evidently, give ETA what has always asked for, but disguising it as a “Peace Plan”. The control of most mass media in Spain and ALL mass media outside Spain makes possible to carry out such a crazy plan.

Now ETA is threatening Zapatero to kill again, and Zapatero threatens ETA telling them that if they do so, the Popular Party will win the elections and this time the Police pressure on them may be fatal.

Meanwhile, the victims of terrorism, acting as a National Conscience, have called a rally, that last Saturday congregated a million people on the streets of Madrid: “Against the surrendering to ETA and for the Truth on 3/11”.

ETA just wants that the debt for their collaboration in 3/11 be paid, and terrorist interest rates are rising...

Thank you for all your work. Having this information in English is absolutely invaluable.

God help ETA. It looks like their fixation with violence will destroy them after all.
