Remember the names we were called for opposing this guy in the recall election? Remember the scorn heaped upon us?

At least now we can unhesitatingly say "WE TOLD YOU SO."

most republicans are capitalists until it comes to health care...then it's "for the children"(or in this case, for the children of illegals, too!) and we can be all socialists.

Health care is just too darn expensive. How can we fix it. Hmmmmm. I KNOW!!!

How about a 4 percent "fee" on hospital revenue and a 2 percent "fee" on doctors' income.

I am at a total loss here. My representatives are....
Schwarzeneggar
Babs Boxer
Di Fi
Kevin McCarthy
I didn't vote for any of them.....ever. And not one of them have my best interests at heart, they all like Mexico's citizens better than me.

I am ready to totally give up on the political "system".

Red Arnold is living up to conservative satirist P.J O'Rourke's maxim: "If you think everything is expensive now, just wait til its free." Indeed.

Cato Scholar Critiques Schwarzenegger's Proposed Health Care Plan
Tuesday 09 January 2007

Cato scholar Michael Tanner on Schwarzenegger's proposed health care plan:

In his previous career Arnold Schwarzenegger undoubtedly ran across some very bad ideas, something along the lines of, say, Last Action Hero. But nothing can match the cornucopia of truly terrible ideas contained in Governor Schwarzenegger's new health care proposal. Governor Schwarzenegger's unaffordable $12 billion proposal gets almost everything wrong, from his tax on employment to his individual mandate, from increased welfare subsidies to increased insurance regulation. His proposal will end up hurting workers, employers, health care providers, and health care consumers.

I'd be happy if he was stripped of the "R" next to his name. If he isn't going to support the party or it's platform, all he can do is damage the party and stand in the way of any positive progress.

He can replace the "R" with the mumbo-jumbo of his new party, a "B" or "P" (bipartisan/postpartisan), or maybe even "C" (centrist, communist, communitarian--you choose).

Upcoming efforts on redistricting (to make it more centrist), moving up the California presidential primary (to help a Rudy get the GOP nomination), extending term-limits (for Fabian and clan) will only weaken any possible opportunities conservatism may have in the future.

The beauty of the United Staes of America is that you can move to another state that suits your aspirations. If conservatives concentrate in states with low populations they get their own state governamen and 2 Senators!

Such as yours truly. They should be slashing costs across the board in California. Instead, they're proposing to raise them even higher.

No state is safe anymore. Just wait til they pass amnesty and we have 40 million relatives come over and then 40 million more waiting for the next amnesty.
You think they all are gonna stay in California or Arizona?
Nowhere is safe.
