Who cut the cheese?
New Jersey, apparently.
Across the length and breadth of Manhattan, people were asking, "What's that smell?" after a pungent odor like natural gas or rotten eggs blanketed the borough and northern New Jersey for three hours yesterday morning.
By evening, the answer seemed to be a stinky gas emitted by a New Jersey swamp or marsh.
"That's where our noses and instruments tell us" the smell was coming from, said Charles Sturcken, a spokesman for the city Department of Environmental Protection.

A big belch from Jersey. Makes you wonder what is going on in the swamp to create the smell.
Do you downhill ski?
Yes, my first view of NYC was at dusk traveling through a dismal swamp, then bright lights...big city.
I do know the other NJ.
I was about eight years old. Learning to go up the tow rope on the bunny hill was quite an experience. Talk about many face-plants in the snow and almost having my arms yanked out their sockets. lol. I'll see if I can dig up a picture for ya.
I would love to see a picture of you as a little snow bunny.

Where did you ski?
I've skied many places Vermont, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Nevada, California, New Mexico, Colorado, and New Hampshire. Opps I forgot Michigan. How about you?
My sister skied Vale and she loved it.
You definitely need to try out west, great skiing, I loved Taos New Mexico.

I have been to Lake Tahoe beautiful skied Heavenly Valley and Squaw Valley and quite a few others in that area. Great skiing I think you would love it.
