Despite the ongoing efforts by the Catholic Civil Rights League to obtain assurances from all 60 British Columbia school boards that parents will retain their right to remove their children from the classroom when material being taught conflicts with religious or family values, as of yet only 3 out of 60 school boards have provided such an assurance.
The Catholic Civil Rights League has been engaged in this particular fight to protect parents rights ever since the provinces Liberal government settled a human rights case with gay activists Murray and Peter Corren in June 2006.
That contentious settlement not only gave Murray and Peter Corren an unprecedented say over the development of a new pro-homosexual provincial curriculum, but also led to the approval of a policy that would disallow parents from removing their children from the classroom if material being taught contravened their personal values.
In the meantime, the process of overhauling B.C.s curriculum to include positive references to alternative lifestyles is continuing. A new course called Social Justice 12, which will focus in part on issues pertaining to LGBT issues, is being prepared for pilot testing beginning next fall.

Religious groups who arent bopmbing people done get much respect.
If they are afraid you might bomb them they start teaching your religion in the schools. RE: California having a muslim class where the kids all dress as Islamics.
They know Christians are no threat so they pay them no mind.
By the way this works for prayer rooms at airports and prayer rooms at colleges and anything else the Mussies demand,. You got to scare folks to get their attention.
We have a simlar law in MA that allows parents to opt out theur children. But because of Gay Marriage, the Spuerintendents of Libereal cities say they don't have to follow that law anymore.
I'm not sure why any of this is controversial. Anyone who sends their children to public school at this late date has no reason to complain, the public schools in aggregate are beyond saving, more money just means more of what we've got.
You need masive protest at the next B of E meeting. Of course then they will reschedule the meeting for when you arent there. Been there Done that.
Little wonder that home schooling is flourishing.
