Exactly. The answer is a Div I playoff system that incorporates all teams and conferences. I'm so sick of the media, including the sports media, and they as much as the BCS conferences are holding the current non-system in place. Nobody here who truly loves football should ever be against a playoff system.
The bball tournament is even more bogus. In bball, especially college, the probability that the best team will win any given game is lower. But, you're right, we never hear this after the Final Four.
