Happens all the time. Crew on long mission, ferrying teddy bears to needy children, bored out of their goards, spots fleeing militants on camelhump and just like the video games they played (Halo, etc.) a couple of years ago back home, opens fire and kills all just to watch them die.
I'd believe it in a heartbeat.
