Ever owned a business? I'm damn sure that you haven't.

The comp is not only a legal mess, but it is formed so as to limit coverage or knocks on private insurance.

Of course it is a quote "commie idea." endquote.

Employees, by and large hate it, and in fact, when injured, almost nobody uses it without a team of lawyers working for them and skimming off any awards. - See where the money goes? look in the Yellow pages under Lawyers, Workman's Comp.

And here who pays 100% of the bill. - The consumer.

When I was working for myself in the construction industry, I could underbid any competition by 25 - 40% - all because of comp. - you don't have to have it for yourself.

Most every leftist - like you - doesn't really understand that "employers" don't "pay" anything. - YOU DO.

If you perceive burdens, then work to reverse what has not been working well, ie socialism in Health care, not pile on more. You are going to be left with no insurers, less businesses, and more taxation, not to mention officially earning your new laughingstock title as "North Mexico.
Adios.

AMEN Brother! TESTIFY!!!!

All this "sharing" of the burden will kill private health insurance in California. That is the only thing this will do.

People can pull on everyones heartstrings all they want....the young mother who dies of pneumonia.....the hardworking immigrant who breaks his leg.....etc.

This one thing, more than anything else will kill California. But I suppose this is an indicator that it may already be dead.
