Unbelievable that the Right is unable to even fund a candidate to at least educate the public in Illinois?
Good grief, what are they good for? What do they produce? Have we no imagination? No PR firm? No activists to gain attention?
Hell, even Cindy Sheehan produces more than the Rightwing, she creates a buzz, gets funding, and her message is heard, as evidence by the Dem Congress.
Sickening. Where are all the strong men and patriots in country?

The Republican Party is a loose coalition of interests who are more at odds with each other than usual. Politicians who hold relatively safe seats aren't going to give them up to try for higher office in these times when they know only 30-50% of the party will support them, and they'll have to face just as much opposition from the other Republican factions as they will from the Democrats.
