Love that smile--and the blue tie.

I love that photo also. Great, sweet smile.

Hi Seven. Well, Barney is middle aged now. He'll turn seven late this summer. Ahhh...where does the time go?

You left out that he's black. It's very important. *rolling my eyes*

Maybe the President is with his Father.

It's possible, but normally there would be at least a snippet of news about it somewhere. This is so unusual to find zero news about where the President spent the weekend. Nothing awful about it, just unusual.

I must admit I thought something very similar about Obama I would warrant the only people in Britain that have heard of him are those that follow Presidential elections and watched the 2004 DNC in Boston that was shown on our Parliamentary channel (we had the Cspan coverage).

Recently though he has been seen on TV news but then I doubt if people have retained his name.

Thank you for putting the Dose up Wolfstar. It's my main source for keeping up.

There almost seems to be a palpable if metaphorical holding of breath in the American news media and body politic as they await President Bush's speech on Iraq this week. No date or location for the speech has been announced by the White House press office.Today I set up my TV set and tested it and it works, I guess because I placed it in a different location. Last time I had to set it up outside to get reception. So I am ready for the President's speech. I am confident that he will give us a winning strategy

I've been thinking the same thing all weekend. I wonder if he's in Iraq or something.

To me it sounds as if Laura would use Beezie but the President Beazie Weazie I like the latter best myself it is somehow more British LOL.

And probably a relief to the President not to have what he is up to splattered all over the media.

I still have that speech in full and in print. It always brings heavy moisture to my eyes, and because these are words of immortal beauty, classic, and so very true.

Despite the fact that the self-appointed gatekeepers of what is great in society ignore it, I think it's one of the truly great Inaugural Addresses in our history.

Thanks for the dose - that is one serious looking dog LOL

Hi snugs. Barney takes his role as Chief of White House Security most seriously I'll have you know. ;-)

He's been forewarned that there will be more Dimmycrats around than usual this year.

I bet the photographer had a smile at that one the odds surely of getting that shot must be very high.

They have no reason to. The guy means nothing to Britons. Maybe in the future if we Yanks are dumb enough to put him in the presidency or vice presidency, but certainly not now.
