I like Rudy but his baggage is many times worse than Newt's. Newt has a messy period in his history, but Rudy sounds like he has basic character and judgment flaws that are a big part of who he is, and that ain't good.
Yeah, that whole wife dying of cancer while you're off having an affair was pretty messy.
