I don't know enough about the Muslim's religion to know about the dog part...
They are against so much of what we all have in our everyday lifestyle, it didn't surprise me, actually.
Remember in that Abu Ghraib case, they used dogs ON LEASHES to scare the prisoners...I thought of that when I heard about this story...so I figured that maybe dogs are considered "bad" in their religion.
BUT, like you said....if you have a job like that, you have to please the customer..and in this case it isn't just the passengers, but the airport itself.
I think from what that disengenuous idiot was saying on O'Reilly, Muslims consider dogs to be unclean. What stupid remarks he made .. BOR was right to call him on his ridiculous statements. Somehow, picking up a cab customer who had an unopened bottle of alcohol or even had a seeing eye dog wasn't supporting the cabbie's right to practice his religion.
Talk about an upside-down, twisted world!

Too bad the military doesn't have trained pigs on leashes. Imagine that!
