I heard that segment. Was that freaky or what?

It's like they think because they believe that, we have to live with it.

To me, they either pick everybody up or they pick nobody up.

But we both know the airport will give in to them; and their demands will just get more and more absurd.

Well, in NYC, when Rudy was mayor, if they refused to pick you up and you got their cab number they were in big trouble. A few times we had some refuse to take us because we had so much luggage (going to Toy Fair) and we reported them.

I do not like this busness of any of these groups thinking we have to change to appease their ways, Australia has it exactly right (IMO) you get with the program and do things the Australian way or you leave...

"But we both know the airport will give in to them; and their demands will just get more and more absurd."

Not so sure. When you read between the lines, the MAC [Metropolitan Airports Commission] acknowledges that their Somali cabbies are being played by the local Arab Islamofacists. And to make it even more bizzaro, the Minneapolis MSM has been shockingly fair in their coverage. Per example, here's a slice from the (Red) Star-Tribune:

"Omar Jamal, director of the Somali Justice Advocacy Center, thinks he knows why the society is promoting a "no-alcohol-carry" agenda with no basis in Somali culture. "MAS [ed note: Muslim American Society -- a Muslim Brotherhood front] is an Arab group; we Somalis are African, not Arabs," he said. "MAS wants to polarize the world, create two camps. I think they are trying to hijack the Somali community for their Middle East agenda. They look for issues they can capitalize on, like religion, to rally the community around. The majority of Somalis oppose this, but they are vulnerable because of their social and economic situation."

Minneapolis is so remote, that their lifeblood is air travel -- and even the snootiest Minnersoter Leftist oenophile will draw a line in the sand at not being able to properly, promptly transport their prized wine cache to their home after flying back on a long flight from some overpriced vinery tour in France.
