Amazing how the attitude of an enemy changes after a visit by 35-50 B-52's, isn't it??

And on the other side of the coin, it's amazing how the attitude of the enemy changes when a ranking member of Congress goes on record as advocating pulling the funding for our efforts! We are not going to prevail in this conflict as long as we have two enemies, the one in Iraq AND the ones in Congress and the MSM.

Amazing how the attitude of an enemy changes after a visit by 35-50 B-52's, isn't it? Considering that would be about half of what we have nominally on flying status. Some of those are in depot overhaul, others tied down by shorter term inspections and maintenance of various sorts. Some number are in use for crew training. I doubt we could put 35 BUFFs in the air all at once. Of course we could mix in a few Bones and maybe manage 35 heavy bombers on target, but remember we mothballed a 1/3 or so of those to maintain funds to keep the rest flying.
