I guess it's no worse than the ditz on FOX this morning saying the voters gave the Dems a mandate on November 7th. It had me screaming at the screen.... they barely have a hold on the Senate by one vote and not too much more in the Congress and they call it a "mandate."

Currently, they are drunk with power, but wait until they start raising taxes, on the middle class. for pay-go and then see how the American Public feels about them.

John Kasic started out being really nice to Martin Frost when both were guests on FOX yesterday, but by the end he was spitting bullets because Frost said the upper eschelon needed to pay more in taxes, Kasic asked isn't 50% enought, you want more? Frost is telling him he's a crybaby and only paid 32% to which Kasic is turning red and telling him then he needs to add in state taxes, property taxes, sales taxes, etc., and it's easily 50% or more.... then they cut them both off.

Been there, done that. From 1954-1994 the Dems controlled Congress with the same old socialist agendas and power politics (call it the New Deal, Fair Deal, New Frontier, Great Society, whatever). It took that many decades to get rid of them the first time.

Americans put up with it then. They likely will now. Especially with our McCain-Feingold Campaign Reform Laws stacking the deck for incumbents and the MSM enthusiastically acting as their campaign propaganda organ.

And back then there weren't 100 million illegal aliens and their families newly minted voters from failed 3rd World cultures, narco-states, and Islamic hellholes, either - many of them looking for free handouts, compensation for past slights, or the desire to vote themselves into imagined riches on the backs of the native Americans who for so long kept them from their just due!

Guess who will vote to keep that party going?

Great catch AC. Actually the Senate is technically tied right now(with the sick dem out for awhile) with Cheney the deciding vote if necessary and the house can pass anything they want but GW still has to sign it so they can make any claim they want and they usually do.(but don't believe it.)
