That sounds perfectly awful. (I much prefer a fresh peanut butter and bacon sandwich...on toasted white bread with a coca-cola).

I presume you mean marinating the bread in Coca-cola and then frying it on the griddle.

That's the best way.

Hopefully the guy that invented "Pizza In A Cup" is still with us.

Thanks for the gourmet ping.

This recipe is for those with their new GPS units out there in the wide open spaces crossing the Rio Grande.

RIO RAMEN

2 pkg. beef flavor Top Ramen
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 to 1 tsp. Mexican seasoning (or chili powder)
Cheddar cheese, shredded
Taco sauce and sour cream, if desired

Break up noodles in package before opening. Add noodles to 2 cups boiling water. (Save both seasoning packets to add to ground beef while cooking.) Cook noodles uncovered, stir occasionally for 3 minutes. Rinse and drain well. Cook ground beef with seasoning packets and 1/2 to 1 teaspoon Mexican seasoning or chili powder until meat is browned. Arrange meat over hot noodles. Top with shredded cheese, taco sauce and sour cream, if desired. Serves 4.

Serve to the border patrol when they show up.

I don't know about Pizza in a Cup, but the Bassomatic inventor is still around, I hear.

In my neck of the woods they moved the islamist center into an industrial park, then forced the local businesses to move on the grounds that the chemicals used in manufacturing created a hazard for the chiiiilllldren attending their madrassa.

Have you tried this?

Ramen Noodle salad

2 packages Ramen noodles, broken up (Oriental flavor - or 1 oriental, 1 chicken)
4 oz. package of almond slivers
4 oz. package of sunflower seeds (shelled)
2 - 1 pound bags of cole slaw or similar amount of cabbage, carrots, etc. that you process yourself
1 bunch of green onions (optional)

Dressing:
2 packages of Ramen noodle seasoning
1/3 cup cider vinegar or rice wine vinegar
½ cup sugar (more or less to taste)
½ cup oil

Combine salad ingredients and dressing ingredients separately.

Do not add dressing until just before ready to serve. If taking this dish away from home, transport the dressing and the noodles/seeds/nuts in a separate container.
