You're blaming the victim because his choices didn't meet your personal standards [or mine either, for that matter]. He had a perfect right to be where he was and to expect personal safety while he was there.

Not blaming the victim, but realizing a fact that we all face; The more dangerous situation we place ourselves, the more likely we are to have unfortunate results."

And yes, there are risk in every thing... getting up, driving, slipping in the tub.

However, the bouncer in the club was quoted as saying that the club was full of hip-hop personalities, know gang members, as well as the high profile athletes.

These same situations seem to have produced similar and not unexpected results all too often.

That sounds like liberal speak. He had no "right" whatsoever to be at the club. Him being there at any moment was purely at the whim of the property owners(s). And expect personal safety from whom? The club owner(s), manager(s)? Police? Government? Come on. The only person I expect to ever look out for my personal safety is ME. He was living high risk, ignoring his family, going places frequented by murderous thugs, probably acting like a smart ass and talking smack, and he got way more than he bargained for. Life is all about personal choice. Most of us make smart personal choices (most of the time anyway) and live to see another day. Some of us opt for more precarious routes and depart this world early. Williams chose the latter and paid dearly.

He also had "a perfect right" to use good judgment and not go to the club.
