The fact remains that passports, credit cards, etc are stolen from Americans every day by illegals, visa overstay types, etc.
There are threats to this country internally and externally. These were most likely stolen passports as mentioned by others.
Why do I say that? Because it is easier for these people to modify real passports than try to make their own.

It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that forged/stolen US passports were found in the possession of members of the Religion of Pieces.The fact that Bush and the RATS refuse to seal off our southern border is a potential problem...but only part of the problem.
I think the next group of muslim hijackers would find it easier to enter the US via Juarez than via JFK.

What's also scary is that some of the passports could easily be legitimate.
