While it may in fact be Moon's opinion that Israel is the root cause of all the world's terror, there is no indication of that in this statement. He makes no mention that Israel is at fault. I think the author is overreacting.

Thank you. If anything, Ban might very well be saying that it is the Arab world that is responsible for the problems between the Palis and the Israelis and the solution is actually the annihilation of the Palestinians.

I agree that there is not enough information on Mr Ban to make any declarations. On Mr. Annan however, that is another matter.
