After Saddam Hussein was executed, the spokesman for President Nouri al-Maliki, Sami al-Askari, announced that Saddam's last words were: "Palestine is Arab."
This was an attempt to refocus attention on Israel's battle for survival against Palestinian arab terrorists, and was entirely consistent with al-Maliki's announced support for Hezbollah.
Unfortunately for Maliki and the rest of the evil-doers, the cellphone video was released shortly thereafter and demonstrated that the claim about Saddam's alleged comments about Israel were a blatantly false lie, a piece of propaganda.
Once again, transparancy has been shown to be critically important. If this exposure assists in discrediting the terrorist-supporting Maliki government of Iraq, then it will have dramatically helped realize the Bush Doctrine in that part of the world.
In addition, the so-called National (In)Security Adviser, Rubaie, claimed that Saddam had a look of fear on his face. This was, of course, contradicted by what was shown on the video. The fact is that you don't get to the top of the greasy pole by being weak. Saddam was cruel. He was ruthless. But whatever he felt inside, I doubt he let anyone see him sweat. Two Iraqi leaders who lie reflexively, effortlessly. The Iraqi electorate really knows how to pick 'em. I'll take Carter, possibly the worst president we've ever had, over one of these bozos any day of the week.
I believe Saddam's last words were "Allah AkbAAAAAARGGGGHHHHHH" - snap
Are you saying Maliki has terrorist ties ? If so, that is news to me.
Actually, I have seen little, if any, "outrage" over Saddam's hanging in the Middle East. What I have seen is a media doing everything it can to stir up said outrage so it can then blame it on Bush.
You fight dirty. Imagine! Using logic and facts for what is supposed to be an emotional issue.
Look at the way that he demanded the US leave el-Sadr alone, and remove barriers that were being used to capture his band of terrorists. To me, that is pretty compelling evidence of affinity with the terrorists.
In addition, his statements in support of Hezbollah are statements in support of ... terrorists (although not terrorists who, as far as I know, operate within the borders of Iraq).
Saddam ala Benny Hill:

(A) Maliki is the head of the "moderate" political wing of Shia Iraqis led in the field by the militia leader Muqtada al-Sadr.
(B) Muqtada al-Sadr is a tool of, funded by, supported and supplied by Iran and linked with Iranian intelligence and Iranian special forces. He is probably responsible for more deaths of more Iraqis than Al Queda or any group of Sunnis or Baathists.
(C)Is Maliki linked to terrorists?
You tell me. Does A + B = C?
