This has been my favorite Satellite Weather link with still pictures and loops for years. You can view your area of the country in Visible, Infrared, Shortwave IR, IR Color, or Water Vapor. You really can't beat this page for Everyday Stunning Satellite Footage. (Scroll Down For your part of the country)

It's now "The Climate Channel". They've become a joke. They did an "objective report" on Climate Change where they interviewed Al Gore as an expert and dismissed those who don't agree with global warming as in the back pocket of Big Oil, energy companies, etc.
I'll stick with local weather coverage from now on.
- Consider eco-artware as gifts of novelty jewelry such as rings, earrings and bracelets made from typewriter keys and transit tokens and old coins.
Things to do if you NEVER want to get laid...
I use both them and Intellicast on a daily basis but prefer Weather Underground's zoomable radar and sat. images.
LOL!!! That's too funny! You don't think every girl dreams of typewriter keys on a ring (instead of a 2 karat diamond)??
There are exceptions to every rule. Not ALL the Weather Channel is bad. Not ALL WorldNetDaily is bad.
But, in general, they both are stupid.
Only a matter of time before she winds up doing weather reports for Fox, if she's half as good as she looks. I look forward to that day.
>>>The Weather Channel, had succumbed to the cancerous spread of liberalism.
Succumbed? Why wouldn't the Weather Channel support the Weather Underground?
::rim shot, well, not really::
I was reading in the local paper that they expect the San Fernando Valley heat this summer to exceed 119F that was set this year.
I will believe it when I feel it! (and all the power goes out)
There's a big difference in wanting a lasting relationship...and with the woman in the picture, I wasn't particularly interested in anything lasting.
Some women you objectify....others you marry.
I prefer to marrify.
Is she hot?
Even Jim Cantori was spouting the GW pap the other night.
I don't watch them much anymore. Seems every time I turn it on for the Local Weather on the 8's there is a special that preempts the local weather.
I now understand your distinction. I am not as down on WND as you are (for me I find some stuff interesting, some stuff boring, and some stuff odd/kooky/unbelievable) but at least I find it offers access to information I can't find elsewhere at times.
Their reporter from Jerusalem often has good scoops from the Middle East.
Not really worth putting up with the global warming BS I guess.
But you believe that
World Nuts Daily has a good
grasp of the real world?!
Doing the earthy hippy-scientist look (she's the one on the right):
Here she does the scientific woman look:
A younger Heidi getting ready to take on the evil corporate powers of the world:
Definitely looks like an earthy hippie moonbat.
