Why can't our politicians say this as clearly as you have. "Stem cell research" is one of the issues on which we lost the last election. It should have been a winner for our side.There are plenty of feel-good stories for the "feelers" who voted for the other side of the aisle.
Oh well, it took some republicans about 5 years to say let taxpayers "keep more of their own money" instead of "get money back." They're mostly lousy at math, but they should be better with words.
Look at all of the "wonder drugs" you see advertised that treat everything from high blood pressure and high cholesterol to impotence and wrinkles. The drug companies funded the R&D for this all on their own and it has made billions for them. If they thought there was any opportunity to make money slaughtering embryos, they would be doing it.
