Isn't it amazing how liberal governments cannot stay within a BUDGET of existing taxation. Until the people finally say NO NO NO -- will they ever respect the word "BUDGET".

Why is the alternative always to raise taxes instead of to cut spending?
Just before he died FL Gov. Chiles (D) said FL cound NEVER meet its budget needs unless it repealed the prohibition in the constitution against a state income tax.
He died, Jeb Bush won and we have had budget surpluses since.
