We were supposed to get over a foot here in the Caribou Highlands of SE Idaho last night. I had the tractor/snowblower fueled up and was ready. We got 4". What a disappointment!!! Still took me 2.5 hours to clean up. Put it all in a big box and sent it C.O.D. to AlGore.
I recomember one night I spent in Valdez in early December 1990. It snowed 24" in 12 hours. I was impressed.
I pity the moose. Lots of them won't make it this year and the ones that do are going to be pretty stressed and P.O.'d come February. Remember what happended to that old Korean gent on the U of A campus a few years back in similar circumstances when he got between a Mama and her Calf? Best give those ungulates a wide berth!
