Before we pack away Christmas for the year, perhaps we should reflect on what it means to some of those of the liberal persuasion.
If you Google for "liberal Christmas cards" the first site you will be directed to the bizarro world that is Progressive Holidays:

The sentiment inside the last bizarre card reads: "George W. Bush terrifies me. Happy New Year!"
The card with the night photo of a tree in the snow celebrates the winter solstice. The card with the people bowing down before a demon says: "Happy Holidays."
The site offers seasonal bumper-stickers too:

One can almost understand their juvenile hatred of President Bush. But why the hatred of Christmas?
Do they think Bush is Christ?

Oddly enough the site doesn't offer any cards mocking Ramadan or Muhammed or any other religion.
I wonder why that is.

That is because a house divided against itself cannot stand.

One can almost understand their juvenile hatred of President Bush. But why the hatred of Christmas? The left has it problems with Christians long before Bush ever came along.

I wrote an OP/Ed about the Planned Parenthood "Christmas" cards last year and they got all bent out of shape. They called me a religoius zealot who attacked them. I laughed my ass off.

Progressive Holidays
That explains the e-mail I got from one of my college friends living in California:
It's been a while. I'll give you a call one of these holiday nights and spread some serious pagan cheer. Happy solstice, dude. Hope you're doing better than swell.

The hatred of Bush is because Bush acts in accordance with his dedicated Christian principles.
Basically, they hate Bush's boss.

I got the Solstice card from my uncle. He doesn't believe in Christmas but he sure demands a lot of gifts.

Bush acts in accordance with his dedicated Christian principles
You mean like when he went to a mosque and bowed down before allah? Or do you mean when he stated that the Koran was the "Holy Word of God"? Or do you mean when he stated that there are many ways to come to God?

I have no knowledge of such events.
I do, however, know how he acted and spoke as we sat in Community Bible Study in Midland, Texas for years.

If you are ignorant of these events it is because you wish to be ignorant.
If you wish to enlighted yourself you could start with this video interview in which Bush states clearly that Christians and Muslims all go to heaven - we just have different ways of getting there

For all of the talk of "Happy holidays is because of ALL of the different customs that different people are celebrating", there just isn't this backlash against Judaism, Islam, Paganism, and Kwanza made evident through commercially available cards and bumper stickers.
They are antiChristian bigots and need to be exposed as BIGOTS.

They'd rather bow down to a demon, or the
sun.... that's called "worshipping the creature, rather
than the creator"...that's one reason why they mock Christ.

Speaking of crazy leftists, I saw this on a website that sells stick on custom graffitti for walls, etc. (Great stuff, by the way...www.wonderfulgraffitti.com). Anyway, they have a section where people send in pictures of what they bought...this one amazed me...it's in Miami..the woman wrote that she put it up after the 2004 election. She actually paid to have it done and then put it up in her garden.

God decides who will go to heaven. There might even be nonBaptists there. Maybe even Methodists, Catholics or a thief on a cross

Sorry, no Baptists in heaven. Not a one. We learned on South Park that the right answer to the "which religion" question is Mormonism. The right answer is Mormonism.
Oh, and the Japanese have no souls.
