Which is the last thing the gay patient wants to hear. They don't disclose their sexuality because they know it is unhealthy and they don't want to be confronted with that.

Promiscuous male homosexuality is certainly risky, but the article is about 14-18 year olds, most of whom are probably not sexually active, and many of whom will grow up to lead heterosexual lives. The very term "gay teen" is dodgy.
