Motorcycle Rally
12-29-06 On January 13, 2007 Local 2544 representatives will participate in a motorcycle rally to support Border Patrol Agents Ramos and Compean. The United States government maliciously prosecuted these two agents for doing their jobs. We now find ourselves doing a job that is not only dangerous because of ruthless smugglers, but dangerous because our own government has abandoned us. The prosecution of these two agents is an outrage, and sends a message to every Border Patrol agent in this country. "Do your job, go to jail."
