I'm not asking you to come back into the tent; it's obvious you don't play well with others.
And why don't you show me where I've been nice to liberals. That's just something you say to try to justify all your blustering.

Now you are stirring this thing on purpose knowing good and well the effect you're having. You could care less if anyone on this Forum goes your way.
I'll thank you to stop reading into my motives. I'm completely in earnest. The RINOs in NJ supported McGreevey over Bret Schundler. That's a fact that can be confirmed by dozens of Freepers who helped Schundler's campaign.
Now, of course, they expect us to sit still while they attempt to impose one of their "ilk" (to use the lady's word) on the national party.
Well, impose they may, but not without a fight and not without consequences.
If the GOP elites try to force a liberal through as the nominee, the party will be split wide open and we'll get slaughtered in 2008.
I'm not happy about this state of affairs, but that's how I see it. Read it and weep.

Thanks for posting Antoinus. EXCELLENT BIO!!!
I am so excited about Hunter in '08. Finally I feel like we really have a candidate we can get behind. Last election I spent so much time working with a pajamahadeen to defeat John Kerry, well, who knew Bush was going to sell out the party for open borders or that the borders would still be open after all these years. And not just that they are open, they've been intentionally left open! Bush doesn't even try to justify it, because there is no justificaton! At least we know Hunter won't just say he's doing everything in his power to secure the country, he'll DO the job our President refuses to do! What a breath of fresh air, don't you think? I can't find anything I don't like about him! And that ping list of yours must be miles long by now LOL...so many FR's are loving this guy!!
HUNTER '08!!

while they attempt to impose one of their "ilk" (to use the lady's word) on the national party.Oh, the irony.
The reason the GOP is in the situation it is in today is because of people like you who wouldn't acknowledge the fact that SOME is better than NONE.

Hey, if the majority is liberal, they'll rule. And they'll rule as Democrats. Republicans make repeated grave errors when they try to out liberal the Democrats.
Personally, I believe that the majority leans conservative--and will vote that way if given the chance. It's vital for the GOP to give them that option.

Excuse me, I voted for every Repub on the ballot(except one, but he won anyway.) But my vote was just one of millions, I can't help it if voters are stupid.
To: Howlin
Correct Howlin, but we've known that for too long a time.

I fully acknowledge this. And here's where your disconnect comes in--when what appears to be SOME is actually worse than NONE and leads to years and years of NONE dominance. This is our situation in New Jersey right now.
I don't wish our situation to be writ large on the entire country.

I think you have a point there.
And I don't think the "play" can go on without an audience.
Somebody here is getting off on this!

Antoninus,
Has he been in one marriage? I would definitely vote for him on that issue. I like the other issues too. I am just so sick of these guys who have been married numerous times representing us. The Democrat seems to find decent married people who are not divorced why can't we?
Thanks.

I want to apologize. I didn't mean to sound so 'angry' in my post.
So no offense meant.
