One thing that is imperative is to get CONGRESS back in the GOP's hands...that way, IF a Dem is elected...he/she won't be able to do as much harm.
However..when we have talk show hosts like Laura Ingraham...who said this morning that she would vote for a democrat for POTUS, if they were pro-choice...because the Republicans have screwed things up pretty bad.
THEN we are in trouble...because I think it was her rhetoric and even Sean's and others that were complaining about the borders, Harriet Miers, Dubai ports..etc...that got so many conservative voters NOT to vote in November.
If they keep it up....it will carry over to next elections...IMHO.
Laura said that? OMG. She really is an idiot. A complete and total idiot. I can't remember the last time I listened to talk radio. It was probably before the election, but a lot of them made some big mistakes that upset conservatives, depressed voter turnout (as you mentioned) and seemed very hard-hearted and played into every leftist mindset about how mean conservatives are.
I'm sick of them. I'm sick of FNC. I rarely have the television on at all but do read the news on FR. For some reason, reading the news isn't nearly as upsetting as watching the same story reported on television.
