The plan will work IF the take the gloves off the current rules of engagement and allow the soldiers to do what they are trained for - killing the bad guy, and not being a pop-up target for the bad guys.
All the other components for success - diplomatic efforts, economic incentives, etc. - are there and ready to go.

Well said and couldn't agree with you more Godzilla. My husband and I have been saying for some time now "change the rules of engagement". You cannot fight a war based on PC rules.
I am encouraged by the news in Cindy's post #621. Hopefully that is a sign of things to come.
