Thirty-seconds into the video there is a shot of Bill Clinton. Is it just me, or is he dozing? Didn't he do the same thing at President Reagan's funeral?

Msnbc has it although I am having trouble linking it here. The best I can do is the page that the link is on

Scroll down to video (middle right) and there's a link to Wouldn't be Prudent

Poor, dear Mrs. Ford. I pray for her as she keeps up a schedule that makes me tired just thinking about it.

I haven't seen it mentioned altho I am sure that someone has discussed this, but why didn't Pres. Cliton speak at the funeral? Carter is speaking tomorrow in Michigan. I watched pretty much the whole thing.
Was it a snub? Did I miss something? I wouldn't want him speaking at my funeral either.

Did you record the funeral at the Cathedral? Did you get Clinton spiting on his finger and rubbing it in his eye? HE DID! I wish I could find someone else who saw it, and made a video with it............

I drove around the GR Ford Museum last night, after midnight; the line appeared to start near the old main entrance to the Pantlind (now part of the Amway Grand Hotel) at the corner of Pearl and Monroe, faced north, and near Michigan (1/4 mile or thereabouts) doubled back. I'm not sure where the line went, but apparently it was inside either the DeVos Place or DeVos Hall. While on Michigan/Bridge St Bridge, I could see the old pedestrian bridge behind the former Geo Welsh auditorium had the line continuing, and it went into the park, and (maybe after winding some more) headed for the Museum entrance. There were parents with young children standing in line. This was a stunning outpouring from this area, and I'm very proud of everyone who participated in it.

President Ford made those arrangements. As I recall, the present president(in this case President George W. Bush) and those chosen by President Ford would be the speakers. Tom Brokaw said President Ford called him last year to speak. Mr. Brokaw gave an excellent speech.

I know that Ford made the arrangements. I am just wondering why Clinton didn't speak. Every other ex-president spoke. Since Ford is considered such a healer, and since they all spoke at Nixon's funeral, you would think Clinton would have been on the docket somewhere. Frankly, I think it is great if he were snubbed, but I haven't seen or heard mention of it anywhere. There has to be a reason.
