Wasn't quickly enuff in my opinion. We move WAY too slow here. Justice should be swift.

Definitely *MUCH* swifter than the liberal-induced appeals process here in our country. In comparison, Saddam's execution from the time after the trial was lightning fast!

Ford made it impossible to assassinate the bad guys? So said Dr. Savage.

A little research yielded Ford's Executive Order 11905. Each president is free to issue Executive Orders.

"Prohibition of Assassination. No employee of the United States Government shall engage in, or conspire to engage in, political assassination."

[End]

Ford's 1976 message on foreign intelligence reform (to Congress) stated "I will support legislation making it a crime to assassinate or attempt or conspire to assassinate a foreign official in peacetime."

This Fox News item by Oliver North has more info.

BTW, Oliver North helped put together President Reagan's Executive Order 12333, signed by President Ronald Reagan on Dec. 4, 1981, specifies that "assassination is against the law and contrary to U.S. policy. . . ."

It's been a while since I've heard Dr. Savage IMO go this far off base.

Savage was dismissive and just plain mean with guest, Insight magazine editor at the time, Paul Rodriguez.

For some reason Savage did not like Insight's story about burial plots in Arlington National Cemetery for donors to Clinton and the DNC. Later when it became widely accepted as fact leading to Larry Lawrence's body being removed Savage was helping to lead the band wagon. At least that was my take at the time.

It happens from time to time. The good still outweighs the bad.
