Occidental, Columbia and Harvard are all places where conservative students and faculty are denied academic freedom.

While perhaps true, this is a lame argument against Obama, as is anything involving making fun of his name. If Obama doesn't claim to be a conservative why would he select an especially conservative college? To the average voter, listing this academic background just makes Obama sound like a smart guy, which he obviously is. Let's face it, Harvard is full of smart people and even conservatives are not going to avoid having the cachet of Harvard on their resume. From what I hear only the top 10% of any law school class is on the Law Review and Obama was the editor.

I checked; only one US president has ever graduated from Harvard Law School: Rutherford B. Hayes (Republican).

[I believe there WAS a backlash for Democrats for their antognism towards religion in general, and Bush's religious convictions in particular.]

When and where did the Democrats lose anything in popularity or votes among their supporters or potential supporters as a result of their constantly accusing Bush of being a googly-eyed religious zealot or ridiculing him as a frat boy twit, in the White House on his father's dime?

Oops, do I have the right to say that, since it has been pointed out repeatedly that the Constitution does state that “no religious test shall ever be required...

Yes, it does say that in Article VI, Section 3. However, since Islam is NOT a religion, you are not applying a "religious test." The Constitution is mute concerning murderous 6th Century cults.

It's not a religion; it's a death cult with the promise of everlasting orgies in the hereafter. Therefore, your view is perfectly Constitutional.

Once a muzzie, always a muzzie? Or else they'll kill you, right?

I thoroughly agree with your tripartite, optomistic analysis. However , we have to get over what is known in wider circles as the RINO hump. None of our Republican early breakers have what it takes to be POTUS, but maybe Romney comes close, I dunno. Not everyone has cast their lot yet. Tancredo might make it. But I would like to see someone who is stronger with more experience, with a personality like Tom DeLay's.

Obamarama is all show and no snow.He would be a disaster as commander in chief. So I hope he does lead the Dim charge.

I wish we had a Pubbie along the lines of Tom DeLay, as a presidential candidate, someone with years of experience in handling the Dim leftist whackos. But get over the RINO hump we shall, but at this point I do not see how it will happen, but it has to.

In 2000 and in 2004. Bush's wins are attributable to backlash among swing voters who simply lost patience with the far left

I was just about to add that Obama is going nowhere in the US until he changes his name, because it sounds too much like Osama. You nailed it. He's cooked.

"Even if I had been a Muslim at one point in time, and had now converted to Christianity, would it still be my right to speak out about Muslim candidates, their practices, and beliefs?"

Not in any muslim country. Even here, you'd be getting death threats. It's in the Koran--converts to Christianity are to get the death penalty.

Did you go to the source and check this? I tried and couldn't find it. Just want to verify it's accuracy.

"Miss Ethiopia 2004"

We now know what the Queen of Sheba must have looked like.

Long live our fellow Christians the Ethiopians, and may they triumph over the Mohammedan foe!

Barack Hussein Obama is the closest Democrats can come to electing a foreign Muslim President of the United States without actually violating the constitutional requirement that American Presidents be native-born.

The only difference is that he is not foreign, nor is he Muslim. Which means that Bush beat him too it.
