While he may relish the image of statesman, Specter has little but failure to show for his efforts.Outrageous.

Three Dems - Nelson, Dodd, and Kerry - and now the RINO Specter. The President should have had them arrested upon their return. Meanwhile, Assad is on the phone with Ahmedinajad having a laugh over what idiots US senators are!

What you need to remember about Specter is that as a young attorney for the Warren Commission, when the big boys could not find a way to tie a single-shooter to the assassination, Specter came up with the single bullet theory.
It bailed the commission out and in some circles it was never forgotten. If you look at the people who served on the Commission, or were closely connected you will find that they made out just fine afterwards.
Best example is Jerry Ford.

Sen. Arlen Specter, R-PA,
Sens. Bill Nelson, D-FL; John Kerry, D-MA; and Christopher Dodd, D-CT.
Birds of a feather.

But is blind engagement any better? Specter's trip was his 16th taxpayer-funded visit to Syria since 1984. 16 trips?????? What are they doing, hooking him up with some underage boys?
To: Quilla
He'll get just as far with the headrags as Kerry did.

Apparently, some politicians (mostly elected-for-life Senators) have concluded rushing to sell out America is good for winning elections.
Or, maybe it's just good for stroking the bloated egos of those comfortably inhabiting our shameful House Of Lords...
